A dual fuzz / boost combining an aggressive Tone Bender with a colored germanium boost; a versatile pairing offering a medley of iconic 60’s tones and textures.
The fuzz channel is a component accurate reproduction of the 1965 Tone Bender MKI circuit featuring hand wired eyelet board construction, new old stock components, and a curated selection of vintage germanium transistors. This circuit features an added gain control that extends the gain range up or down from the stock setting. The circuit remains true to the original at noon.
The boost channel is a reproduction of the 1965 Dallas Arbiter Rangemaster Boost featuring a 1960’s Texas Instruments CV7042 germanium transistor; an exceptionally warm yet articulate model that sounds great as a stack or standalone. This circuit is true to the original with the addition of a 3-way EQ switch. The circuit is true to the original in the “high” setting.
